PICTURE BENEFIT TO-NIGHT

To-night McLean's Picture Benefit in aid of the funds of the Excelsior F.C. takes place. The star picture is a Paramount Special production entitled “The Good Provider;” in which Vera Gordon is the star supported by a very strong east. Miss Gordon will he remembered for her fine characterisation a- the “Mother” in “Humoresque.” Besides the big 8-reel star a strong supporting programme will also he screened. The charge for admission to-night will he; Dress circle 2s 2d and downstairs Is Id; children half price. The Municipal Band will render a short programme of music prior to the entertainment.
