WELLINGTON' ELECTIONS. WELLINGTON, April 27 For tho City Council, the following were elected:—Mitchell G., Gaudin W. J., Bennett H. lb, Bennett W. H., Lnckie M., Forsyth T., Burn 15. G. H., Burns J., Aleadoworoft F., Chapman C. H., Aston J., Thompson W. J., Alonteith A. 1.., Barton A. V., Me Vicar Mrs A. There were thirtyfive candidates. Chapman and Monteith are the only Labour candidates elected. For the Harbour Board, Messrs O. Mitchell, It. lb Bennett, C. J. Norwood and ('apt. I’ost. NEW BI.VMOI’TU ELECTION. NEW PLYMOUTH, April 27 The municipal elections resulted in tie return of five of tho old Councillors who stood for re-election, one candidate who associated with them oil a ticket and two, including Mr Smith M.P., who was included in the Citizens Committee ticket.
