POLLING AT HOKITIKA. borough corxciL. Tin; polling took place; yesterday io elect nine Councillors for tin; Ho rough of Hokitika. There was a steady stream of visitors throughout the day which increased as the afternoon wore on. most of the candidates being in evidence during the day in the vicinity of the polling places. About 9 o’clock a large crowd had gathered in tlm streets, and when the doors of the Town flail were thrown open a qwarter of an hour later, the hall was rpiickly Idled with interested electors. .Mi A.
