WEDDING BELLS.

TWO.MEY—RIVERS. A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday morning at the Church “of the Sacred Heart, Rectum, when Miss Delia Rivers, eldest daughter of Miami Mrs W. Rivers, was married to Mr B. Twomey, youngest son of .Mrs and the late Mr D. Twomey, of Cronndun. The bride, who wsa given away by her father, looked very dainty in a Dock of white crojic do chine with cire lace vest cdgetl with pearls, tulle veil wnh sprays of orange blossom, and carried a very beautiful bouquet of white ami yellow ilowors, asparagus and maidenhair fern. Miss Alice Rivers attended her sister, and wore an uncommon truck of pink satin with overdress of maize cire lace and black hatteis’ plush hat, and carried a heautiiul bouquet. Mr D. Twomev attended iiis brotlier. The Rev Father Herring performed the ceremony and celebrated Xuptial Mass. The serviee was choral, the bride being a very old member of the choir. After the ceremony vhc Initial party were entertained at the resilience of Mr and Mrs Rivers to a sumptuous breakfast, the hnpny couple leaving later by special ear 10; (Weymouth, rn mute to Christchurch and Dunedin, where the honeymoon will lie spent. The bride travelled in a tobacco brown costume, brown hat with orange crown, and black lurs. I he newly wedded couple were the recipients ol many tangible tokens, as both ’arc natives of the district and children of very old residents. Their lTrcuYe home will he at Hokitika.
