This acceptance, by the largest party in the Reichstag, of tho British suggestion is symptomatic of the changed feelings here. Other parties hold similar views though hitherto they would not give them clear public utterance. The Polish press are indignant, and accuses Lithuania ot desiring at any cost to provoke war. 'I he papers allege German instigation and the existence between Berlin ami ICoenigsberg, of secret arms depot. They declare Poland cannot now he asked to sign the Statute now being prepareo in Paris, giving Lithuania sovereignty over Metnel.
