LONDON, April 13 The Commons sat continuously for 21 hours, the Labourites following their usual practice of moving amendments in committee on the Army and Air Force Annual Bill, particularly regarding punishments and discipline. The Government maintained a majority varying from 70 to .100, and frequently applied the adjournment at 3 o'clock in tim morning, the motion being defeated. The committee stage dragged on Li 11 L 1.15 a.m., when fresh members arrived for to-day's silting. The report occupied thirty-live minutes, and the Bill was read a third lime. The I lon -o rose at 1 1.58 and adjourned till Monday. The proceedings generally were orderly, though the Labourites greeted the application of the closure with cries of “(big” and sang “John Brown’s Body’’ a- they traversed the division lobby.
