RIVIERA MURDER. .millionaire shoots AGENT. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION. PARIS, April 9. A sensational murder is reported at Nice by Jean Bores, a well-known millionaire philanthropist, "ho is aged 2."> years, and is a bed-ridden cripple, suffering from paralysis, lie shot an estate agent, named Depuy, who asked him to sign the transfers of some title deeds. Bores seized a loaded gun close to his bedside, and fired, killing Depuy Bores lias been allowed to remain in bis magnificent Riviera villa, pending an investigation. He says that Depuy attempted to coerce him to sign the documents, under the menace of bodily harm. Bores is an apostle of simplified French spelling. He made his fortune in Argentina. In a statement to the police. the millionaire said that lie wanted to revenge himself on the agent for buying a house from him for £0,700. and selling it for £7,100.
