ADImiCTON STORK MARKET, A DROP IN REEF. (3y Telegraph Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs H. Matson, and Co., report as fol.ows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday;
►Store Sheep.—A .smaller yarding and all elnof sheep were easier. Best rape !amhs up to s 6d, others fur 14s 6.1: best sound moiilli ewes up to ■ i Is. oito' from 17s fid to 2A.s ; inferior 10s fid in 1 Is. Rest wethers from 22s to 2fik s inferior ]ss fid to 20s. The demand was slacker all round. Store cattle—A small yarding, a nondescript entry, and the demand was very dull, really no quotable lines offering.

Tlio smallest yarding for some weeks. The quality was irregular and the market again easier especially for unfinished steers and cows. Several outside consignments were offered particularly from the Rest Coast and Southland. As the sale progressed the sale got worn and slower, an average decline of Ills to 20s per head. Prime steers £lO to £l3; extra to £l4; medium fid 14s to £!); others L'4 to fi/ 10s; be>t heifers £<> Is to £0 7s lid; host heifers £fi Is to fit) 7> fid; others C4to £4 15s. Cows £3 10s to £0 15s; extra to £8 12s fid. Mutton.—A small yarding again, mostly ewes. Any good wethers sold well at .slightly below lasi week's rates but ewes showed a drop all round. Rut- < hers in fat e of tlio holidays evidently ; being well supplied and freezing buyers were not kei n, but towards the end of the sale operated sparingly at reduced limits. Prime wethers 30s to 35s fid, extra, to 3s’.- fid; medium 2fis fid to 20*; prime ewes 21s fid to 25* fid. extra to 3l!s: medium Ps to 21* ; others down to 13s. 1 a suits -The smallest yarding for some time. the quality being irregular.
