At Feilding a single man, named Albert Wickham, aged 20, was burned to death in a shed ot the rear of business premises in Ferguson Street last night. He was subject to fainting fits and it i* surmised that he fell, thereby upsetting a candle. RIFLE SHOOTING. HAWKE’S BAY MEETING. _ _ <. WELLINGTON, April 3. Ihe Collins’ Shield Champion Teams 300, 500, and 000 yards match was won by Karori No. 1 team, with 471 points. The Cadet Championship was won hv W. D. Bertram, Wellington College, 107 points.
