At the hearing of the claim lor damages against Dr Eraser-Hurst, Mr Singer recalled the plaintiff in regard to a conversation which she had with the .Matron. The plaintiff said that on asking Miss Keyte to give evidence of her behalf. .Miss Keyte replied: ‘1 nutst stand hy the Hospital Board, but 1 would like to see justice done for the agony you have suffered.’’ Miss Keyte. recalled, said she did not remember making the first part til the statement, and she denied making the latter.
