I am pleased to see the IJoss Borough objecting to borrowing money to waste in'Hokitika when the Kuniara Home is already established. The chairman and members talk oi economy—-on whose figure- are they basing their argument. Arc the patients kept cheaper in Hokitika titan th y are in Kuniara under the management of the present time, or are they working on the figures oi the former maters of the Home. I doubt if tin* management in Hokitika is any better than in Kuniara. Home.
