Wiiile on tlie question I would again remind you that the pipe line on Hau-Hau Hill is almost. exposed in places not being more than 3in. !relow the surface and in direct line uf timber lorry traffic. There is a danger of the pipes being pushed out of their position, and in my opinion requires immediate attention. RUBBISH DUMP.—During my visits to the reservoir. I kept the dump in as decent a state as was possible under the circumstances, and a.s time would permit. I am sorry to report that at present, since my visits to the reservoir have ceased, 1 cannot report favourably on the condition of the dump.
DA.Xi.FROUS GOODS.- After mi ni" an inspection where dangerous goods are stored, as previously reported I could only recommend that one !i- ---• ense U' granted for the storage of D. (ioods. I have also buried (ureases that have been washed an mi the beach at various times. t would hero like to again mention that the morgue requires ventilation as at present there is nothing in the way of ventilation at this building. Two old buildings have been demolished during (la year le instructions under your by-
