Westland Sub-Union.
ANNUAL AIEKTr.Nt 1. THURSDAY. MARCH 23nd. The annual meeting of delegates of the Westland Rugby Sub-Union was held at the Club rooms, Hamilton St. at 7.30 o'clock. Delegates were present representing the hallowing Clubs; United. Kiwi. Exselsiors. Kokatalii. Ilari Tlari. Ross and Referees' Association. An application by the Afari«ts ( lub to join the Union was received. Messrs Gillnolv. Hagai-. Ale.Mahon being nominated as delegates. Mr Gilloolv spoke on behalf of the application, several questions being asked and replied to. A ballot was then taken on the question of affiliation, the Union deciding by 13 votes to 3 to refuse the application, it being considered there were too many teiuns in Hokitika at present. election of officers. The election of officers resulted as follows: President —Air F. McGregor. _ Vice-Presidents —Messrs C. J. P. sellers. J. .!. Alclntosh and AL Houston. Treasurer —Mr -I. -L Breeze.
Secretary—Mr E. AV. Heeuan. Postponement Committee—Messrs D. R. Dowell. J. -I. Breeze and M. HousSelection Committee — Messrs M. Houston. D. R. Dowell and L. Hughes. Judicial Committee—Messrs A. A\ . Y a mill. A. E. Beniamin, L. Mmhc am' 0. J. P. Sellers.
