Home, ALP. for Chelsea. , replying on the air estimates debate, recognised the potential value of civil aviation and said he was anxious to j put it on a basis which would provide a valuable asset in the air power of Britain. Tho Committee of the Imperial Defence was considering the air force in every aspect and he hoped that soon some definite recommendations would be made for co-ordination in the national defence estimates when udopted. (Received this dav at 9.30 a.tn.) LONDON. March 22. In the House of Commons, Colonel J. C. Wedgwood. Labour M.P. asked the Premier whether France had asked the Government if Britain was disposed to associate herself with the measures designed to enforce the terms of the Versailles Treaty dealing with the disarmament of Germany and the operations of the Commission of Control. Also, -aether in view of the French actum flfthe Ruhr, the Government would refvnL from co-operating on the Commission. + u„ Air Bonar Law’s answer to the first question was in the afhrmntive and to the second in the negative.
