X rSXRAJjIAN 4ND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION IRISH TRAGEDY. (Received this day at 9.30 a.in.) LONDON.. March 22. A volunteer named Fitzgerald, was shot dead while seated in the kitchen of a public house at Longford. Rebels broke down the door and fired at Fitzgerald who had been warned.
