GOLF.
AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. NEW YORK, March 10. At Bellair, Kirkwood, who recently sprained a muscle in his shoulder, played through West Tournament (already cbled), without complaining, thinking the injury inconsequential: but when fishing to-day, he hooked a four-foot kingfisli. and in attempting to land the prey, he sprained his shoulder so seriously that he was compelled to consult a physician, who ordered him to cense golfing for a fortnight. This resulted in the cancellation of several tournament dates. He and Hagen sail for England on May Ist to participate in the British open Gleneagles Match play, and other open events.
