H.AI.S. Laburnum Is expected to arrive at Greymoiith from the West Coast Sounds to-morrow afternoon. The warship should be in the Hokitika offing to-morrow forenoon. The ship will lie open to visitors on I rulay ami Saturday, but so far no arrangements have been made for the school ehildien from this end. It is open for the schools to organise excursions, wo understand. There has been some suggestion of the Automobile Association arranging a. motor mn for a number of the crew on Sunday, and Lake Kanicri has been mentioned as a possible objective though according to the published programme, the Christchurch Road is given as the destina- , (ion. Probably if some move were made by the local Automobile Association it would lie possible to bring ! a section of the crew through to Hokitika and on to the lake side on Sunday.
