[A Card] A. R. ELCOCK SOLICITOR HAMILTON STREET. HOKITIKA. SAFETY FOR YOUR ESTATE. No 17.—Thu Public Trustee uiiil the Business Mail. Now Zealand has proved that it has good types of business men, able, keen, progressive—men who have proved their al>i 1 ity in public affairs as well a.s in their own private enterprise. There was a time when some of those captains of industry and commerce doubted whether the Public Trust Office being a State institution could achieve a high standard of efficiency in its work. They made enquiries and prejudice was changed into a preference for the Public Trustee in the Will. Those business men asked plain questions and received plain replies - the facts of faithful efficient service. They found that the Public Trust Office welcomed enquiries, and opened up the whole system of office practice so that the investigators could judge it on its merits. They -aw' that the greafTurposo of the Public Trust Office was to idvo the best practicable service in the conservation of private estates for the advantages of dependants. The sequel to these enquiries is a steadv increase in the number of business men's wills in which the Public. Trustee is appointed to take charge of the estates, either solely or in conjunction with advisory trustees. Tor full information apply to the Public Trustee Wellington, or to MU T. R. SAYWELL, District Public Trustee, Oreyinonth. A representative of the Office is in attendance at Hokitika on Thursdays and fridnys in each week.
