AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. STATE LABOR SPLIT. 1 (Received this day at 12.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Alarch 1(5, The State Parliamentary Labour Party lias split over the Doolcy-AfcGirr dispute. A meeting of the caucus discussed ft motion whether Dooley was eligible to be present, in view of Ins expulsion. The motion was affirmed by sixteen to thirteen, whereupon AlcGirr with nine followers left the meeting. The caucus by 23 to 1 protested against the action of the executive in appointing a leader of the party. It is thought the executive tonight will probably expel the sixteen who supported Dooley. H.M.S~OTTATHAAL SYDNEY. Alarch 16. Captain Crawford. Superintendent of Garden Island, paid an official call to the Chatham officers. The latter will bo entertained by the State Ministry on Tuesday and the men given a picnic at the National Park. Captain Hotham said the visit was a step m the co-ordination of the defences of the Etui pro. Tt was a unique event and hoped it would he a forerunner of further visits.
