Store sheep.—Another very large yarding, and the market generally was much easier all round especially lama and backward sorts of ewes. Rest rape lambs from 18s to 225; others from 15s (Id; bet sound-mouth ewes up to 355, ‘ tliors from 20s to 25s ; best wethers up in 275, others from 21s. Beef.—Another large yarding, comprising 450 bead, too many for butchers’ requirements and as a majority of the entry comprised light and inferior finality, the market was easier all round by 15s to 20s per bead. Prime steers til to £l3 10s; extra to £ls ss; medium CO to CIO Ins - others £0 10s to £8 15s ; prime heifers £7 to £0; others £4 10s to CO 15s. Prime cows, £5 PH to C 8; extra to CIO: others £3 to £5. Store cattle.— A medium entry ami the finality was very mixed. The demand generally was slack.
