From Same approving of appointment of Miss Bruce a- assistant at Hokitika.—Received. From Teacher (Miss Hacked) South Spit reporting average attendance as 21.5. from roll number of 2d. —Received . From Rector (Mr T. Irvine) reporting the average attendance was 390.5 with roll number of 111: that Afiss Bruce had taken up her duties and AfisDixon was relieving pending appointment of new teacher: notifying lavatory required attention.—Received. From A'i-iting Committee (Alessrs Bruce and \itlcen) reported on repairs required to the lavatory; the technical school roof requires painting, as the iron was rusting: the rushes in the playground required cutting down. Received and adopted, the various matters to he attended to. Small accounts were passed for payment. Alessrs Stevenson and Lloyd were appointed visitors for next month. It was re'olred to close for the Faster holidays from Thursday Afarch 29 to Monday 9th. April. A rote of £2 2s was passed to the Municipal Band for services at the picnic. The Committee rose at 8 p.m.
