Though tlio wedding was intended to lie quiet, and tlio rot-option was confined to members i>f the two families, tboie was a largo congregation at tlio ceremony. v. liloli was most picturesque. Tins church was beautifully decorated. Tile, bride who was given away by her father, looked very becoming in a deliqlittnl gown ~f ivory piuiiio velvet, with a lone train of real lace which was suspended from her shoulders by strings of real pearls a gift from England). and lined with ivory georgette. The veil was a. treasured family one. covering a crown of p-arls and orange blossoms. The bridal bouquet of cream roses was in perfect harmony with the gown. Tlie bridesmaid, ALiss Quecnie .loin - stone of Wellington, and the matron of honour. .Mrs (I. Lawrence Taylor, the only sister of the bride, wore charming frocks of rose taffetas, with an over dress of gold lace, with lulls to match, and carried bouquets of sweet pea blooms. A pretty picture was completed by the two little trainbearers. Duloie and Joan, daughters of Mr Xorman Massey, who were dressed in dainty pink nrgnndi frocks. The eermemy was performed 1 1 v tin Rev. J. Hen (in M .C. Mr H. At. Afille,- was best man. and Air Cory-W right groomsman. Tlie wedding break fast w.-c held at the residence of .Mrs T.nwrenie Taylov. where the geests, mostly relatives were received by AFr Taylor. .firs Afas-ey, senr.. who has not heen enjoying the best of health. looked cheery and becoming in a gown, amethyst s-l!k and a l-quo of violets. She carried a bouquet of mauve asters. Mrs Salmon wore a black art-silk frock trimmed with gold lace with a hat to match. Among the other guests were three brothers of the hride and their wives. Afr and Mr- \V. J. X. Ab-is-cv. Miami Mrs S. T. Massev. and Mr and Alls .1 ohn Atas-cy. Afi and Alls Ernest Dough,-. and two Afis'C' Raynor of Blenheim. sisters of the bridegroom’s mother. Aim John Atkinson. Albs Tngall and Air Robert Salmon.
