Lord Cu'rzon, addressing the Alduyeh Club, said he believed the peace party in Angora, to which Ismet Pasha belonged, would prevail. Lord Cuizon said he could not believe that any people, would in the long run, reject so generous a treaty. He reviewed the home and foreign situation, and claimed things were improving slowly ami surely, but he expressed a " ish for approval of the Government s attitude that the s-:|:it -cu of the u-pa rations problem would not lie solved l.v any individual nation, lit* looked forward to a day when it would be settled by internalimml action. Then' were two features, which encouraged that confid-
ence. One was the establishment of the League of Nations and the other was their improved relations with America.
