fBY TELEGRAm—PER PRESS ASSOCIATION I j NEW BRIGHTON' INQUEST. I CHRISTCHURCH. Feb 21. I The inquest was resumed to-day concerning the death of Dirge children of Michael Cook at New Brighton. The medical evidence indicated heart fail- j ure was the cause of death, as a result of acute bacterial food poisoning. The I father of the children stated that hlanc j mange eaten at the evening meal, was made from milk left over from the j previous day. ft was boiled for 25 j minutes. The post mortem and bnc.teriologal examinations disclosed that bacteria, belonging to the food poisoning group, had been found in the sample of milk, and also the blaue mange. N.Z. TEAM FOR N.S.AV.
