DENUDIN', Feh. 17 In the Supreme Court the following prisoners, were sentenced : Andrew .Johnson and Aliehael Size, breaking and entering, nine months’ imprisonment. James Wilson, theft, two years’ reformative detention. Robert Henry Broekie. breach of probation order, two years’ reformative detention. Cyril Shirley, thelt, twelve months’ ivloi rnative detention. William John Quail, robbery, twelve months’ imprisonment and declared an habitual criminal. Andrew Cavan, breaking and entering, two years' reformative detention. Emilio Susan Eggers, breaking and entering, twelve months’ detention at the Salvation Army Home. Bertie Hedghmd Parker, postmaster at Owaka, carnal knowledge, eighteen months’ reformative detention. WELLINGTON. Feh. 17 .John Madsen, a Harbour Board official who was found guilty of receiving goods stolen from the waterfront, was sentenced to four years’ hard labour. Air Justice Chapman said that Madsen had betrayed a trust, and in addition he lnul given ialse evidence and had called his vile to Jo IJo'wi-e.
