Th» full report of the Addington I Stock Sales on Wednesday says in ro gurd to— LAMBS. A slightly larger yarding than last week, comprising 3900 compared with 3700. Quality was much better than for .some sales, due no doubt to the liarduning pasture created by the hotter weather and to the fact that a proportion of the lambs were off the rape. There were several drafts of good lambs from the West Coast, the tops of one draft making 32s fid. and another from Okarito (South Westland) 32s llkl. I he market was about the same as last week, from 10d to close on 10',d for firsts and about 9 d to rseconds. exporters secured the bulk ot the entry, the smaller proportion ot light lambs keping graziers to an extent out ot the market. Top price was Its, secured for a pen of five, sold by S. .Smith (Lincoln). Thirty from S. Harris (Styx) made from 35s 7d to 38s. Values were as follows: — Kxtra prime lambs. 33s to 3is. a few special at 12s. I’rime lambs. 29s 9d to 32s 9d. Medium lambs. 27s 3(1 to 29- (id. Light lambs. 25s to 275. The following sales were made:—l. Mcßride (West Coast), 112 at 20s id to 34s 2d; T.
