Until Mr Holland in the House, sprang a surprise in tactics it had been anticipated that the first, test of parties in the division lobbies would have taken place on Mr Wilford’s amendment by Wednesday night at latest, but the additional amendment completely altered the situation. Labour members are coming into the debate freely. They will be answered from the ministerial side, while official Opposition speakers must place their views before the Houso without delay.
