They were dumped into barracks to await removal to Greece, this despite the fact that Greece has notified she cannot receive more deportees. She already has absorbed a million, and has no more room. Smallpox has broken out at Scutari. There arc three hundred cases in the Greek 'Hospital, which is full. The only assured supply of food is half a loaf of bread daily per head from the American Relief Association. The Greek Government has just presented a Note to the Turkish Government stating the expulsion of the people is contrary to the agreement reached at Lausanne. If the process continues the Greeks will immediately expel an equal number of Turks.
