There have been conversations between M. Poincare and Lord Crewe (British Minister in Paris), and between M. Saint Anlaire (French Minister in London), and the British Foreign Office in London. These followed on some misunderstandings that arose between France and Britain over various notes in connection with the Near East .particularly those relating to separate peace negotiations. The understandings hnv« now satisfactorily cleared up these matters .and complete accord has been established. MORE HOPEFUL NEWS. Received this dav at 12.25 p.m.) LONDON, Feb 12 The Central News states the report of a Conference being held between Isinet Pasha, and General Harrington at Constantinople is not confirmed, hut more hopeful news has been received. The Turks have transmitted a- verbal message, which is much more, conciliatory. They have promised to rectify the diplomatic difficulty raised by the arrest of an Italian steamer in a Blade Sea port.
