Chinn to move: “That in order to afford ratepayers an opportunity of expressing an opinion on the question of rating on unimproved values in the County of Westland, petitions praying for a poll to lie taken thereon at the time of the general County elections in -May, lx* deposited in all post, offices in the County of Westland, and ratepayers given till next ordinary meeting of the Council 1 13th March) t<, sign same : and in the event of the requisite 15 per cent of the total ratepayers signing in favor of a poll, such poll lie held on Oth Mav throughout the Countv of Westland."
