ADJINCTON STORK MARKET (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian.) WEST- COAST LAMBS SELL WELL. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Atessrs H. Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 7.

Store Sheep—Another large entry and keen competition throughout the sale. Best rape lambs 21s to 2<s Od; best forward wethers 2is to 30s; host sound mouth ewes Ironi 28s to 3-ls: others from 21s. Best 2-tooth ewes up to 12s; others from 31s. Aged and iii—ferior ewes 17s to 235. The -market was firm.

Stoic cattle. Another large yarding, all classes being well represented. The market was firm at last week's prices. Best 3 and I year steers to £7 7s (id, best 2 year heifers to Cl 10s. No quotable alter,ition in other prices except for cows and bulls which are now claiming the attention of exporters. Pigs- A fair entry of porkers and bnconers and demand was good. Light porkers -15 s to 50s. heavy 52s Gd to GOs average pri'-e 7tG to Sd ; light baeoners £3 7s to £3 15s: heavy £4 to £1 10s. average price Gd to GPL

Store pigs- A medium entry was forward and the demand was not so good. Small stores and weam-rs sold at lower rates. Good medium and large stores sold well. Wenncrs 12s fid to 20s. small stores 18s to 27s Gd. medium 30s to 38s. large I Os to 15 s. Sows in pig to £5 10s. Beef—A smaller yarding than last week, the entry comprising .‘!7O head. Tile quality was very irregular ami ll"t many lines of good s|ufl wore yarded. The market all round was decidedly primer and improved towards the end. Prime steers L‘l2 to CM; extra to £ls ss; medium £8 10s to £ll 15s Gd : others £7 to £0 5s (id; prime heifers £7 10s to CD; others .Cl 10s to £7 ss; prime cows £G 10s to £B. extra to £lO 2s Gd: others C 3 15 s to CG. .Mutton Another small yarding mostly owes. One or two fines of good

wethers were yarded, but the quality on an average was not so good as lastweek. The market opened firmer and continued so throughout. Prime wethers 33s 6d to 30s fid ; extra to 40s. medium 30s to 335; lighter 28s to 2f)s (id; prime ewes 28s 61 to 33;: extra to 33s (3d; medium 2os to 28s; eld and inferior down to 22s (id. Lambs (fat).—Another small yarding and the quality generally was not too good. The market was slightly easier all round, especially on medium lambs. Prime quality did not show much difference and light unfinished lambs were largely brought by graziers'. AVest Coast lambs again sold well, but the majority showed the effects of a bad trip over. The average price was lOd per lb. over all.
