WEDDING BELLS.

BURNS—KOBTEGAST. A popular marriage was celebrated this morning at St Mary’s Church, Hokitika, which was crowded for the occasion by friends of the happy couple, when Mr Joseph Burns, son of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Burns, formerly of Kanieri, was united to Aliss Kathlyn Kortegast, daughter of Mrs Kortegast, of (lil)soii Quay, Hokitika. TinRev Dr Kennedy presided and proposed the toast of the happy couple, which was Iteariilv honoured and very complimentary references were made by a number of the guests, lie happy couple who were the recipients of a lap-e number of valuable presents, left this afternoon on their honeymoon carrying with them the good wishes of a wide circle of friends. 1 hey will reside in Wellington.'
