On .Monday a wedding took place at Reefton at Holy Trinity Church, the contracting parties being .Miss .Nellie Butcher (only daughter of Air and Mrs B. Butcher, of C'rushington), and Alt John flihbs (eldest son of Airs T. Hibbs, Camerons). The Rev Bloyee officiated. The bride wore a charming saxe blue costume, white crepe de chine vest, and bat trimmed with blue to match. She was attended by .Miss Tina Ashton, of Greyniouth, as bridesmaid, who was attired in a smart costume of navy blue serge with lemon crepe de chine vest and lemon tulle hat, trimmed with blue, with streamers to match. Afr Butcher (Camerons) was best man. After the ceremony the party motored to Crushtngton, where a number of guests were entertained by the bride’s parents. A dance was held in the evening, at which there was a large attendance of friends. The newly-married couple left by special car for Westport and Nelson.
