SENTENCED FOR ASSAULT. 1 CHRISTCHURCH. Fob. I. .Toll it Henry Mathieson, fireman, lifted*‘2l. was sentenced to a month's imprisonment- for striking a fine worker at Lyttelton on January 27th. lie pleaded guilty. The police said ' lie men were working on the Wahine. Mathieson came aboard drunk and struck complainant on the hack of (lahead and kicked him as he lay unconscious.
