MAN MISSING.
DROWXIXt! ACCIDENT FEARED,
(Argus.) Having borrowed a bathing suit. J. McKenna, a lodger at the Criterion Hotel, on Tuesday, left for a swim, and has not since been hoard ot. McKenna, it appears, settled his bill at the hotel mid packed his hag preparatory to leaving for Otiia and Christchurch. It is believed that the missing man is a native ol Auckland, ami has a brother in Stockton. Owing to Die wires being down however the police lias been unable to eomniunicate with that town.
