MOB LAW IN ARKANSAS. WASHINGTON. January 23. Mr Samuel Compels has asked the authorities in the State of Arkansas to take action to punish the mob at Harrison (cabled on January 16). Mr Gompers in a statement, says that the properly constituted authority in Arkansas can vindicate itself only by a speedy determination of the responsibility for and adequate punishment of the guilty of. one of the worst atrocities in our time. Tt is only fair a State, where there is so much animosity to Labour, should do its duty.
