MR .IOUXSTOX’S REPORT. I hog to submit my report, on the agricultural work in tlie Westland schools for tho mouth of December. Taylor- ■ the. and I’aroa. A spell of very wet weather has spoiled the appearance of some of tho plots. Inn (iii the whole there is a distinct improvement in the work and prospects compared with those of last yea r. A great deal of work has been done at Tnlaia Elat and the splendid appearance id tho vegetable and (lower plots i- a pleasing recompense for the enthusiasm of pupil and teacher. The children’s records too arc full and well kept. 'the (Ireymouth District High School plots have responded much better this .si sou to the efforts of the primary and secondary pupils. They present a tidy appearance and most of the plants are giving promise of very f'ajr results. I'he extended lloivei borders on tile Tnintti street frontage, attended to by till* girls ill the tipper classes, will improve the general appearance of the school eiitiiinee.
