DISPOSAL, OF A VALUABLE CO I.

LECTION. LONDON. Nov. 10. A very valuable collection of New Zealand stamps were sold at -Messrs Marnier, Rooke and Co’s Fleet street auction rooms last week. The collection which was formed by Air L. Wil- ' son, an Australian, contained many of Mu’ rarest items and were in excellent preservation. Three used copies, catalogued at £lB. sold lor the remarkable prices of £2O, CII, and £0 os respectively. Half of the Is bisected, and used as a (Id stamp, sold lor £l9. The item of the greatest interest in the sale was the 2d ! blue with value omitted from the hot- ! toil) label.
