Wilbur Fisk Crafts, founder of the International Reform Bureau, and instigator of many so-called “ blue laws,” at the age of seventy-three years. BOR AH’S CONTENTION. WASHINGTON, Dec 28. Senator Borah later on issued a statement to the eflect that President Harding.’s (suggestion to Congress widens the Debt Funding Commission’s powers, and will remove any hail oil America’s officially becoming a member of the Reparations Commission. It was significant that the suggestion was made to the administration by Air ,J. P. Morgan. Speaking in the Senate, Senator AlcNarry said Senator Borah’s proposal cannot bo construed to imply any obligation calculated to involve aggressive or defensive military action.
