SAYIMMIXO. HAMILTON, December 17. At the local swimming carnival yesterday mi exhibition was given by AV. Harris (Honolulu) world’s champion swimmer and Miss P. Hoeft (Auckland's champion swimmer) also competed in one handicap event. She was given a liberal handicap, and just fail'd to win in the-60 'yards men’s event. The winner's time was 47 3-5, and Harris's time 30 secs.
