The wool tops case has concluded, the High Court dismissing the claim of the Colonial Combing, Spinning and Weaving Company for C 1,000,000 from the Central Wool Committee, and the Government’s cross claim for £250,000 from the company. The judgment stated that certain agreements, under which the companies come together, were involved, therefore both claims must fail. After a conference of counsel for both parties regarding costs, which amount to C 50.000, at which an agreement was arrived, the Court entered judgment- for the committee, and on the cross action judgment for the company. The company was ordered to pay costs, but really only 02900 "ill change hands, which is the company’s loss.'
