ADJINCTON STOCK MARKET ' I.AMB GOES l'l\ (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs H. Matson and Co., report as follows regarding tlicir stock sale at Addington yards yesterday : Store Sheep—'.not!,or mi,all yarding, mostly wethers and ewes and lambs. Owing to inclement weather the attendance was small and consequently the competition was not quite so lieen a.s last week. Best forward wethers up to 27s 3d. others from 22s to 255; best ewes and lambs in the wool up to 25s Oil; others from 20s. Best shorn ewes mil land's up to 235, others from 10s to 20s. Store out tie—A medium yarding, including several good pens of well grown steel's. The demand generally was better all round. Best 3 and I year old steers £5 to £0 10s; 2 yrs. to 24>Ts ditto £2 15s to £3 As; yearlings 27s Od to 355; 18 months to 2 year old boilers £3 to £3 10s; smaller 35s to 12s Od; cows 20s to 335. . Pigs In porkers n medium entry and demand good at the start, falling away at the finish, l.ight porkers 35s to ‘l2s, heavy 45s to 50s; average price Gd to 04 d. ! Bnoimers—A medium entry and prices weic irregular. Light, hneoners 52s to 58s; heavy £3 to £3 0s fid; average price light s',d to sj}d. Choppers 30s to £3 2s Od. ' Store pigs—An average yarding, and the sale opened well, hut fell away towards the finish. Wcnncrs 1 -Is to 18s good weauers to 21s; slips 20s to 255; medium stores 28s to 335. No large stores were offering, j Beef—Another largo yarding and the quality generally was irregular lint ineluded some really excellent lines.
