TUESDAY, DEC. 12. NOTICES OF MOTION. ORDINARY MEETING. (To sit at 2 p.m.) 1. The Chairman to move: “Thattho accounts presented for tho month of November, 1922, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee amounting to £ —. be passed for payment.” 2. The Chairman to move: “That tho Council resolve into Committee of the whole to consider the Treasurer’s report in respect to tho maintenance and upkeep of Lake Kariieri road, deferred from previous Council meeting.” 3. The Chairman to move: “That while in committee of the whole, the Council consider the Overseer’s report in respect to acquiring a portable stone crushing plant for use on the Countv roads. 99
4 Cr. Chesterman to move: “That application be made to the Public Works Department to treat as urgent the £3OO voted for Lake Kanieri road, and in view of the late damage to the road in the vicinity of McKay’s creek, a request he made for the immediate expenditure of the grant.” SPECIAL MEETING. (To sit at 3 p.m.) 1. The Chairman to move: That the Council proceed to pass by special order, a bylaw as before the meeting for consideration, providing . for the licensing of vehicles using the roads within the County, and prohibiting the use of vehicles on such roads without a license; also appointing fees to he paid to the County Fund Account in respect to the licensing of vehicles as passed.”
