A mass meeting of the Seamen’s Federation held this morning heartily cheered the Labour election victories, and passed a resolution congratulating the Labour Party on the splendid position of the polls which resulted in an increase in the Parliamentary representatives of eight, without the loss of a single seat, a fact which augured well for tlie future of the democracy of the Dominion and the well-being of workmen and women.
