AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. REPORTED CHANGE OVER. HELSINGFORS, Dec 4. At a delegate* meeting of the 'Third International as Moscow, the Russian Soldiers’, and Workmen’s Conned decided to recommend that the Soviet denationalise* all Government concerns, and extend the rights to all Russian and foreign hanks and companies. Ihe Soviet is expected to agree thereto. In. tho general discussion, only the German Czech and Bulgarian Communists advocated violence. AH favoured cautious action, through the International Socialist organisation.

The trial has ended at Johannesburg of Onrnsworthy, a, well-known miner, and seven others who wore, charged with murder in connection with the attack on Rrakpan mine during the revolution, when a number oi defenders were killed. All the accused were sentenced to death, three were virtually recommended lo mercy. There was a great crowd outside the Court awaiting the result, hut no demonstration tool, place. After the vurdict, (iarnworthy shouted his protestations. and denounced the (,wo witnesses who had turned King’s evidence. The pronouncement of the sentences was erected with sobbing by women, and a noisv farewell demonstration by relatives and friends of the condemned men.
