' PARIS November 4. Tbe “Matin” continuing the publication of Vcnizelos documents, reveals letters from Nittl and Sforza addresscd to the Greek Government, leaving no dcubt of Italy’s refusal of support to Venizelos. The “-Matin” says Venizeios signed a secret agreement with Tittoni iri Paris, in July 1919, under which Italy was ffiedged to Support Greek- demands in western and easteiri Thrace, the annexation of northern Kpiras and also to cede to Greece the Aegean Islands. The agreement provicied that in the event of Italy’s itiability to obtain satisfaction regarding aspirations in Asia Mnor were not specified, the agreement might- be annulled. The “Matin’” expresses the opinion that the agreement thus became precarious and illusory, and Venii zelos was trifled with by the Italiaris. Sforza writing to Venizelos ill July--1920, denounced the agreement and declared Italy was resuming full liberty of action.
