While all of tin important characters of the origina series are present there are in addition numerous new ones, who wil prove as interesting as J. Rufus ant: his partner lllackio Daw. It is a picture with an intensely human appea and some of the biggest scene spectacles have been staged in the feature, Wilfrid North is the leading star in a big cast. Its human qualities hold a simple love scene between Mary Curtis and Jimmy Wallington demands as much, attention as the magnificent pageant scene patterned alter an old Indian durbar with its gaily compansoned elephants. In addition to this there are big spectacular scenes on a lake of burning oil. They are the greatest firo scenes ever filmed. len tanks of oil were spread upon the especially constructed lake which cost over £4,000 to produce. Every character was selected with care auel piveison so that in tho finished production every typo would he faithfully portrayed and visualized as they had been in tho original^Wodlingford^stories.
