A meeting of the AA’estland branch j of the above Association was held in j thci County Chambers last evening at : 7.30 o’clock. There was n good nttemlj mice.. Air G. Davidson presided. M.r Davidson report,.! the result of the interview with the County Council on the proposed mo'or-tax, and it was understood that some amendments were to ho made in the proposed tax.
