Suddenly a parade in town startles them and they learn that J. Rufus has come to town in the guise of an Fast Indian and is making elaborate! promises to the townsfolk that lie is going to make their town into a. “New Bagdid.” The boys are shoved into tho background and the father and Blackic become the stai actors. Each of their moves is planned with rare subtlety so that presently they nave hoodwinked almost everyone to buying share; Wi oil stock. Ono of their schemes slips however, and a hill of sale is lost unknown to thorn. Much depends upon this paper. Just when tho crisis comes and the furious mob shrieking their indignation at 1 icing swindled is about to strike at J. Rufus and Blackic, the Son of Wallingford plays for time. MCLEAN’S pictures. WARY MILES~MTNTER—TONIGHT. To-night at the Princess Theatre Mr McLean will present Mary Miles Minter in the six-reel llcalart Production “Nurse Marjorie”. The picture is intensely interesting throughout and shows Mary Miles Minter at her best as the Nurse in a private hospital, where also is a Labour Member of the House of Commons, suffering from blindness. He ones under an operation to remove the defect, the operation being successful. How lie falls in love with the nurse and find that circumstances "ill not allow him to marry her, and how lie overcomes those difficulties make an interesting as well a very humorous story. Tim final chapters of the Serial “Thunderbolt Jack” will also he shown and is well up to the usual standard.
