POLLARD’S PICTURES. "SCRAP IRON'.” TO-NIGHT. Steel offers himself, and Riley promises him S2OO if he lasts three rounds with Burke, but not a cent if he is knocked .out before that time. “Scrap Iron” goes into the ring and takes an * unmerciful heating, for, when Burke finds that Steel is giving all attention to defense and none to offense, he throws caution to the wind and starts for a knockout. “Scrap Iron” lasts through the three rounds and starts in the fourth, with his S2OO safe, to hit Burke at least a few times before he goes out. The surprise comes when the infuriated “Scrap Iron” knocks Burke out. Riley adds the winner’s etui to the payment he makes Steel and the l'ad hurries home to find his mother has had a bad attack while he has been absent at the fight club. Midge shows tip at the house, wanting John hack, hut the youth’s love is wrapped up in his mother and the picture ends with them planning the trip’ that is to restore Mrs Steel to normal health. Supports include a Vim comedy “Pluck and Luck,” and a (Jaumont Graphic.
